Take A Dip At Lake Daylesford
Perfect spot for a dip on a hot summers day. If its cool you can always walk around the lake and try some spring water from the natural springs.
Lake Daylesford
We knew we had to check out the infamous Lake Daylesford during our trip, so we decided to get up early for a sunrise mission on the lake.
As we parked the car in the Lakes main car park, I noticed a beautiful jetty on the other side of the lake, which I just had to see (for some gorgeous photos). After a quick check on the Lakes Map, we realised it was about a 20-minute walk around to the other side of the lake. The walk itself was breathtaking, as we were accompanied by the constant chirping of birds, ducks quacking, water trickling and the smell of clean and crisp country air.
Once we reached the Jetty we quickly fired off a few must-have photos, but the real highlight was sitting on the end of the jetty in complete silence with my fiancé and watching the sunrise. The perfect start to our day!

Lake Daylesford
Picturesque Lake Daylesford, is close by where you can rent a canoe, have a swim or just soak up the sun with a picnic on the grassy banks.

Daylesford Sunday Market
We explored the Sunday Market at the Railway Station, filled with many handmade, organic and vintage goods the town of Daylesford had to offer.
Pancho Cafe
Because what day full of adventure can possibly start without COFFEE! Pancho Cafe is located in the picturesque hillside of Daylesford and is a family-run business providing its customers with fresh and locally sourced produce. Their coffee is delicious (coming from a Melbourne coffee snob) and you can't go past their fresh-out-of-the-oven muffins to go with it!
Antique Hunting In Daylesford
If you’re a collector and lover of all things vintage, Daylesford is definitely the place to visit. We recommend going to the Daylesford Bazaar on Vincent Street (our absolute favourite) and the Mill markets for endless aisles of unique finds. You're bound to walk out with a few treasures.
