Whitehawks is a modern purpose built one bedroom cottage. This beautifully laid out space offers open plan living, lounge and dining with wood burning fire place. Smart TV with streaming platforms.

The large bedroom boasts a super comfy king size Sleeping Duck Mach II bed, there is a separate bathroom with shower and heated towel rails. All linen and towels are supplied. The galley kitchen has everything you'll need to cook up a storm, Induction stove top, Neff oven, Bosch dishwasher, Delonghi coffee machine. Extra fast satellite star link Wifi.

Private deck with BBQ and outdoor bath overlooking the Otway forest. There is an energetic scenic private rainforest loop walk on the 21 acres which takes you down and across the Elliot river twice. The walk is quite steep but well worth the effort
Please also note the water supply is tank water and perfectly safe to drink.

Mobile reception is very poor so turning wifi call on is recommended

The large front windows of the cottage do not have blinds so the view is constant!

The property is approx. 8 km from the township of Apollo Bay. The driveway is on the left of the Great Ocean Road, 300m past the blue Whitehawks Cottage sign. Take the left fork in driveway down to cottage.

The hosts residence is situated on the hill behind the cottage, far enough away to ensure privacy.

We moved to this beautiful property four years ago and have spent the last year rebuilding Whitehawks cottage so we may offer boutique accommodation that is surrounded by the stunning nature of the Otways. There is an energenic scenic private rainforest walk on the 21 acres which is well worth the up and down effort. My partner Waz is a builder and I am a graphic designer. Our residence is situated on the hill behind the cottage. Far enough away from the cottage to ensure privacy. There is only need for interaction with guests if assistance is required with exploring the property or any problems should arise.
