We loved our long weekend stay at The Horse celebrating our first wedding anniversary and what made it even more special we could bring along our dog Prince.
The cabin sits up on a hill, nestled amo...ngst nature! Very peaceful and private!! It has everything you need and a very comfortable bed and much needed AC!!
The outdoor shower is absolutely divine. There’s something special about enjoying a hot shower while feeling cool drops of rain at the same time.
Justine was a wonderful host and recommended some great local restaurants and cafés that we really enjoyed.
Highly recommend for a relaxing and memorable getaway! The photos don’t do this place justice!!

I loved staying the horse! The fit out is really thoughtful — lovely, comfortable bed with nice linen, and the location is very peaceful, nestled up the hill from the main town. It was hot weather when I stayed and the portable aircon in the cabin worked well. Would definitely stay again :)

Surfing Lennox Head
It's not a down south trip without stopping for a wave at the legendary Lennox Hill point break. Best surfed on a south westerly wind, this spot brings in some serious lines that just cry out to be carved on your board.

Lennox Head Beach
Stunning lookout with views over the ocean. Lots of marine wildlife and you will most likely see dolphins. During Whale season (May till September) Humpback whales make their way up north and are visible from Lennox Heads.
Whale Watching Picnic Lunch
An incredible spot to sit for a picnic and do some whale watching, catch the sunset, watch the surfers, and just enjoy the panoramic ocean views.
Pat Morton To Flack Rock
The best coastal walk in the region, take the dogs, pack a picnic and your swimmers. You can take a full day to enjoy each beach and explore properly. Great halfway stop for lunch is the Belle General cafe.
Lennox Head
With an eagle soaring overhead, an ice cream shop across the street and scenic views of the headland, we walked up and down the beach of Lennox Head soaking in the sleepy, beach-town feel.
Seagrass Green Grocer
Such a great little store with scrumptious homemade eats and local goodies. Lots of fresh produce as well. We stopped in and grabbed some salads for a picnic lunch.
