The property has an incredible history, and you can see from the decades of grateful families who have left notes in the guest book that this has been a very special retreat for many many people over ...the years. Sue was an attentive host and offered assistance when the rain water ran out. The accommodation was comfortable and the grounds offer lovely walks and wildlife to experience.

We had a short and sweet stay at Woolshed Hill House over Christmas. We really enjoyed the animals on the property, being off-line and the nostalgia the visit conjured up. Sue was a communicative host... and was quick to fix an issue we had upon arriving. It didn't distract from our visit, but I think it's worth mentioning that the property accommodation is a bit run down and also quite hot if staying in summer - it's definitely a "rustic" setting, which was charming to us. We bought our almost 2 year old with us and she loved the doll-house in the house, and the beautiful high stool that she perched upon for meals. The kitchen is good for simple meals/assembling food, but could do with some updates such as knives sharpened and utensils that don't damage the non-stick pans. Beautiful view through the olive groves to the hills.

A stay at Woolshed Hill is more than just a place to rest your head & getaway, it's an opportunity to unwind, disconnect from your tech and create etherial new messages. Only a short 6 minute drive fr...om Kyneton Town Centre, Woolshed Hill offers a fantastic garden and a chance to connect with nature. We hung out with Harry the Peacock, caught a glimpse of some baby Guineafowls, mother and baby Wallaby, a lovely and majestic Scottish Highland Cow and a array of birds! I will definitely stay here again and Susan is a phenomenal host with some great stories.

I fell in love with Bringalbit when I saw the 1890s lake covered in white waterlilies and wild waterbirds. We came from Beechworth where we had an art and craft gallery - the Buckland Gallery - for many years. My husband and I are both artists, so this was the perfect place to live. My background in art is reflected in the presentation of Bringalbit.
