nice place. away from everyone and everything city lifewise. great sauna and surrounding, perfect scape for a group or couple. the fireplace in the tent was a little chalenging, make sure to clean it after every use. very relaxing and surrounding with great nature.

We spent the weekend tucked away in a nice valley!! Right by a creek, wildlife, bonfires and absolute silence. Was wonderful!! It’s a glamping experience but not on the super fancy side, very rustic a...nd being right in the bush you need to adapt to the dark and cold especially in the winter. However we enjoyed it 👌. The drive in is awesome, the dirt road onto the property could be challenging depending on your vehicle and confidence but we managed in a little Audi so it’s not impossible. Thanks Vidram for making it a good experience.

Beautiful location and great set up. Kitchen had all the required utensils. The shower was challenging

Paddle Through Paradise
Wisemans Ferry is the perfect base for adventure, offering everything from hikes and wine tours to our favourite – water sports. For a more relaxed experience, rent a canoe or kayak and drift along one of the many rivers winding through this picturesque area. It’s one of the best ways to take in the landscape, surrounded by towering trees, local wildlife and the gentle rhythm of nature all around you. Cool off with a dip in the water for the perfect reset.

Hike At Shepherds Gully
The long, gentle climb along Shepherd’s Gully has some beautiful scenery and some historic remnants of the Old Great North Road. The optional side trip to Hangmans Rock takes you past an old convict stockade site and some of the construction remnants on the main Devines Hill ascent.
The Convicts Trail
This area of Hawkesbury is steeped in history, none more so than the Convicts Trail at Wisemans Ferry. The Convicts Trail was built by, believe it or not, convicts who were sent to build Australia's infrastructure in the 1800s. The trail takes you on a journey of their experience, including Hangman's Rock which has a rather sinister story attached.
Historical Hike At Convict Trail
This convict trail hike is truly unique, It takes us along the Old Great North Road, an amazing feat of engineering that was built by convicts in the 1830’s to link Sydney with the Hunter Region. The information panel along the walk really does bring history to the history to life. It's like we walked into an open-air museum with some engaging convict stories.
Only 30 min drive from Berry Hill to Wiseman ferry, this walk is very accessible. To get the most out of this trail (and understand more of the history), we recommend making a big loop that includes Finchs Line - the original road which was in use before the Great North Road. This circuit gives you a better grasp of the Great North Road’s history and is more scenic.
