With a mixture of country charm and modern styling, our Studio has been thoughtfully designed & equipped with all you need for the perfect getaway and to enjoy the natural surroundings of the forest, with its daily visitors of wallabies & kangaroos.

The space opens to a plush Queen size bed; handcrafted in Australia from sustainable wool and non-toxic materials. A comfortable 2.5 seater sofa faces an electric fireplace and if you are musically gifted, the studio features our heirloom baby grand piano.

A smart LED flat screen TV has access to Netflix and all free-to-air apps or simply relax listening to your favourite tunes via the Bluetooth compatible Marshell speaker.

Linen is supplied at The Studio for two guests including pillows, quilt, bath & hand towels, bath mat and additional blankets.

The kitchenette is equipped with microwave, bar fridge, toaster & kettle, crockery, glassware, cutlery & utensils. Tea, coffee, milk and pantry stables such as salt, pepper & sugar are also supplied.

Our modern bathroom ensuite consists of basin, toilet and spacious 1500mm shower. As we are on tank water, mindful water consumption is appreciated.

With wildlife at your door, pets are not accepted and the property is not suitable for young children, so please consider this when booking.

In 2017 we purchased a 2 acre property near Daylesford as an escape from our day to day lives. While the main house needed some work, it was the view into The Wombat State Forest which was the main draw card. We have adapted the previously used photography studio into a guest suite for two, as a way to share this very special place; a night time sanctuary for kangaroos and wallabies, surrounded by trees and bird life. We fell in love with the forest very quickly and think you will love the tranquility as you visit the surrounding Daylesford & Hepburn Spa Country.
