Barrington River Farm is a working farm, home to a rare herd of Red Devon cattle. The house reflects the property's biodynamic principles, designed and built with sustainability as a priority. Completely off-grid, it features robust backup systems for reliability. Positioned at the property's highest point and north-facing, the house is strategically designed for optimal solar efficiency, blending eco-conscious living with its natural surroundings.
The home features three bedrooms with ceiling fans throughout: the main bedroom with a queen bed, walk-in robe, and ensuite; a second bedroom with a queen bed; and a third bedroom with 2 x king single beds. Additionally, the lounge room includes a queen-sized sofa bed, providing comfortable accommodation for all guests. Use of the sofa bed is at an additional cost.
