Welcome to Macs Cove Ranch, a charming retreat nestled in the serene landscapes of Victoria’s High Country. This recently renovated home offers a perfect blend of rustic charm and modern comfort, making it an ideal getaway for couples seeking tranquility and adventure. Located 15mins from Mansfield or Jamieson & less than an hr from Mount Buller, it’s perfectly situated to provide you the best of both country and convenience.
Our home is located on 14 acres & you have access to the entire property to explore. We have a large fenced area around the home to keep your fur babies safe as they play. We welcome your pets in our home & just ask you treat it with the same care as your own home 🐶.
The home has three comfortable bedrooms with queen beds. One bedroom & bathroom located on the ground floor is seperate to the main house so offers some privacy, peace and quiet if visiting with a group of friends.
We have two chicken coups for our nesting flocks🐔 which you’re welcome to help yourselves to the daily eggs. We also have two bee hives 🐝which we use to harvest our own local ranch honey. Our honey is seasonal and complimentary for guests if available at the time of your visit.
We have a lovely small flock of self shedding sheep 🐏as well as our new additions being our handraised highland steers🐂. We’re sure you will enjoy admiring them as much as we do. Feel free to say hello & just be careful of their horns. Photos and visits are welcome but please respect our animals who may be shy & wairey of new visitors 🫣

Please note there is a bull in the neighbour's paddock directly behind the house. He is very friendly & inquisitive & will likely come up to the fence to see who is there.

Please do not pat or feed horse or bull & admire from afar, so as not to scare them.
We have sheep & cattle (seasonally) on our property. at times our sheep may be in lamb or with lambs & could be shy. If we have a ram in the paddock, we will ask you not to enter the paddocks & will advise you prior to your stay. Please admire animals from afar, so as not to scare them. You're welcome to enter the paddocks if you're going for a walk on the property just take care.
We have chickens (including roosters) next to the house. You're welcome to help yourselves to eggs (seasonally) via the roll away egg trays. Please do not enter the chicken coups or let the chickens out of the pens. We monitor these regularly to ensure fresh water & food is available.
