My husband and I spent a weekend away at the boathouses. As soon as we stepped inside we instantly felt relaxed. We were welcomed by a beautiful space, soft lighting, heating, scented candles and spa ...music. The lily pad pond was mesmerizing - we spent time just watching the koi and turtles and also read for hours on the deck. This place is so peaceful all we could hear were the frogs. We felt like we were the only people there for the whole weekend. The location is perfect and not too far from the restaurants wineries and attractions. The bath was a highlight so comfortable! On the second day we had an in house massage from healing hands which was so worth it! I don’t think we could have had a better weekend away.

If you’re heading to the Hunter Valley this is a fantastic place to stay. We saw fish, turtles and even an eel in the pond, it was wonderful to watch them with a hot tea on the deck. We played the pro...vided card games and chess. A relaxing and romantic getaway space, close to everything and utterly beautiful. We also had a couples massage from Chloe and her incredible team with healing hands of the Hunter and it was incredibly relaxing and rejuvenating. I couldn’t recommend this beautiful place enough.

It really would be hunter valleys most beautiful stay! Amazing place, felt very relaxed. Loved it. We had a little cheese board on the balcony for dinner

We enjoyed a relaxing lunch at Lucky Duck Restaurant in Lovedale, perched over an old fish farm. Between courses, we fed the silver perch beneath the deck, adding a unique touch to the experience.

The food was a highlight—the duck bao buns were soft and flavourful, while the chicken wings had the perfect crunch and spice. With its peaceful lakeside setting and delicious share-style menu, it was the perfect spot to unwind and enjoy a long lunch in the Hunter Valley.
