A huge thank you to Fiona, her place is absolutely beautiful and exceeded our expectations. You can tell she has been so intentional and thoughtful in every detail, from the handwritten note on arriva...l to the carefully curated décor throughout the home.

The space is full of character and made our stay in Kyneton feel really special. We loved spending time by the fire, as well as sitting out on the terrace with a glass of wine under the leafy canopy and warm festoon lights, with cosy blankets provided, it was perfect.

We also really appreciated all the small touches, from the beautiful cutlery, cups and coffee selection to the books, photographs and artwork throughout the house. It all felt incredibly considered and inspiring.

The beds were very comfortable, the home was spacious, and it was also wonderfully dog-friendly, which made a big difference for us and our 11 year old pug loved it.

We left feeling relaxed, inspired, and already wanting to come back. We would absolutely recommend Fiona’s place and would love to stay again. Thank you for such a wonderful experience.

We spent 4 amazing nights in this property and would highly recommend it to anyone who has a house trained dog. Our greyhound loved all the new smells and really enjoyed being so close to the Botanica...l Gardens. Location wise, the property is perfect, literally one street back from shops and cafés.
The house was in immaculate condition, very new, well presented and had everything you would need for an extended stay.
We loved Kyneton and would definitely go back.

What a perfect town house and great place to relax on a cold wet day. The gas fire enticed me to snooze on the rug and enjoy being snug and relaxed. We loved walking to piper st shops, restaurants and... river walk. We couldn’t fault this perfect stay from the wonderful interior decorating to the many dog toys, we will return. Thank you Fiona

Antique Hunting At Red Cart Vintage

Red Cart Vintage is filled with unique finds and eclectic treasures with an authentic appeal, beautiful beyond words. From furniture, ceramics, chandeliers, textiles and so much more. A special shout out to the owner Kathy, who was so welcoming and helpful.

Botanik Cocktail Bar

An exceptional cocktail bar, dedicated to rare and exotic liquor and masterminds of day time drinking. It's located upstairs within the old Royal George Hotel, peruse Kabinett (stylish collectibles) on the ground floor before heading up to sit at bar or amongst the botanics on the balcony.

Dog Friendly Cafe

In the morning, we were ready to check out a town nearby called Kyneton, where we found some delicious breakfast at the dog friendly cafe ‘Little Swallow’

Musk Lane Cellar Door

A hidden gem! hidden down Turner's Lane which connects High St and Market St in the heart of Kyneton. This is a cellar door and bar with food trucks and DJ's which opens Sat and Sun 12-6pm. Dogs welcome and no designated driver needed.

Nature Stroll In The Botanic Gardens

On our route back to Melbourne, we stopped by the Kyneton Botanic Gardens for a leisurely stroll along the river with the many birds, crickets and dogs. If you have little ones that need to get their monkey energy out, there's a lovely playground and massive field to run around on. It was hard to come home to the city after such a restful stay in the country.

Campaspe River Walk

Our morning ritual, go via Courtyard for morning coffee and pick up the walk at the bottom of Piper Street at the bridge. Our dogs take a dip near the outside gym then we cut through the Botanical Gardens and walk back down Ebden St.
