Dalhousie was one of the most beautiful homes we have stayed in. It was incredibly clean, the house was well equipped and very comfortable. The owners left a lovely welcome gift. The property is beaut...iful my family loved roasting marshmallows and relaxing in the comforts of the home. It’s a short drive to beautiful walking and cycling trails. This house is amazing for both hot and cold climates. We would definitely love to come back. I can’t recommend the house more.

Birregurra is a tiny little town packed with hidden gems. It's only a 15-minute drive from the property and home to one of the best gluten-free bakeries in Victoria. We picked up a couple of super tasty, fresh-baked chicken pesto paninis, coffees and a few supplies to test drive the local Penny Royal Berry Farm Jam we picked up on the drive down.

Otway Artisan Gluten Free Bakery

We had an amazing gluten free panini from this cafe. The panini was that delicious, we went back and bought more rolls for later!! It was the perfect pitstop between Lorne and The Stables!

Blakes Estate Cellar Door

There were no leaves on the vines, but that didn't deter us from soaking up the fruits of Blakes Estate's labour. These guys made an extremely tasty Pinot Noir that went down a treat as we walked around the vineyard.

Slow Down Take It All In

One of my favourite things about being away from the city is the beautiful landscapes you will see on your drive. The whole area is filled with large trees that surround each winding road. It's such a captivating sight, so take it all in.

Pennyroyal Raspberry Farm

A great Raspberry picking farm that operates over the summer. The Raspberries are delicious, and the staff are very friendly and accommodating. It's only an hour out of Apollo Bay, so you can either choose to pick fresh berries on the way to your accommodation or on the way back home.
