You can't miss Shadows in the heart of Creswick sitting proudly on a previously unused piece of land.

From the Architect: 'Creswick House is a new accommodation project utilising a small triangular parcel of unused land. Designed in response to site context, the building fills in the ‘missing tooth’ in the streetscape while maximising privacy and natural light access.'

A single open plan space, cleverly laid out, designed for you to relax and unwind. Shadows is Japenese inspired and minimalist, built from spotted gum, charred blackbutt and concrete, designed as short stay, boutique accommodation created exclusively for couples to have a unique experience, in a beautiful setting, in the Victorian Goldfields.

Internally lined with local radiata pine, stained black, the natural grain is visible, creating a cocoon like space full of tactile textures, whist enjoying a significant amount of north light in the enormous double glazed windows.

Shadows in Detail:

The kitchen has a full size integrated fridge, electric oven and induction cooktop. A microwave, kettle, toaster and cooking utensils. A Nespresso machine and plenty of coffee Pods are provided. There's also T2 Melbourne Breakfast tea, coffee crystals, local Inglenook Dairy milk, salt, pepper and Goldi olive oil. All the things we love!

The lounge room is sunken and has a cozy leather sofa with Waverly Mills Australian made wool blanket for those cold nights to cuddle up and read a book, play some cards or chess in front of the fire.

The house has split systems for heating and cooling and also has an Australian made Nectre fireplace with firewood provided to keep you comfortable on a cool day.

The bedroom has a plush king size bed set on a Japanese style low base with luxurious bedding, fluffy pillows and a wool super king doona for an amazing relaxing sleep. Enjoy the country stars as you drift off to sleep looking through the skylight directly above the bed.

The bathroom has an incredible circular terracotta shower with luxurious bath sheets and Australian made Leif body cleanser, shampoo and conditioner to pamper yourself!

Adjacent to the bed is a desk set up to work from home if need be. There's also a record player and stereo with Bluetooth connectivity for music lovers.

The European laundry is fully equipped with a front loader washing machine with washing powder and fabric softener and a heat pump dryer. An iron and ironing board are also provided.

The courtyard is a sun trap, set within the private native garden and a great place to sit and have a coffee or have a steamy outdoor bath with a cocktail in the evening.

Across the road there's an EV charging station.

Parking is available in the driveway in front of and behind gated if required.
