Watch farm animals wander past your windows and enjoy beautiful sunsets over the hills. Spend your days exploring bush walks or local cafés, then unwind with a private sauna, and star-filled evenings. Cosy, thoughtful, and deeply relaxing.
Nestled between the Blue Mountains region and the Central West, our property is perfectly positioned for those seeking a cosy country escape.
Spend your days watching our farm animals and exploring the rugged landscape of the region, then retreat indoors to enjoy our thoughtful space filled with handcrafted ceramics, book collection and games. For the ultimate seasonal indulgence, enjoy a session in the sauna—the perfect way to end a day of mountain adventures.
Inside the tiny home, a ladder leads to your loft bedroom with a double bed, offering a lovely retreat after days of adventure.
The kitchen is fully equipped with a two-burner gas stovetop and full-sized oven—perfect for preparing fresh meals. We provide the cooking essentials and plenty of cooking utensils. Enjoy a cup of coffee from handmade ceramic mugs as you gaze out over the valley.
The tiny home is well equipped for the chilly days and nights of autumn and winter, with reverse cycle air con that heats the place nicely, cosy doonas, and in winter an electric blanket on the bed too. A BBQ and small fire pit (subject to seasonal fire bans) are available, along with a private sauna.
From your window, you may spot Molly, our friendly milking cow, or Spirit our mini horse. Some afternoons our ducks may come for a little visit to your door too.
This is a working farm, so we kindly ask that you keep gates closed and avoid entering paddocks—for your safety and the wellbeing of our animals.
This season is one of the best times to visit the Blue Mountains— as Autumn and Winter start to work their magic and the trees change colour and the cool mountain air invites us to slow down. This tiny home offers the perfect base for reconnecting with nature and exploring the local region.
If you would like suggestions of places to visit or things to do, don't hesitate to send me a message. I grew up in this area and have lots of lovely places i can suggest. I have put some in my guest guidebook too.

We loved the tiny home and its sauna! Running out into the cold mountain morning air from a 90° sauna was the best way to start our day. The star gazing was amazing and we thoroughly enjoyed Bear’s company, we definitely want to come back!

The Postmistress Cafe
Soak in the village charm and morning calm of this Hartley institution. Excellent coffee, and a new selection of baked goods each day. Try the Lemon Yoghurt Cake.
Hyde Park Reserve Swimming Hole
Off the beaten path, a 4WD track brought us to a creek, water rushing past dense, untamed bushland. An explorer's dream.
Hassans Walls Lookout
A gentle stroll to multiple viewing areas, with sweeping 270 degree views across Hartley valley and the mountains.
Popes Glen Track
An easy bush walk famous for bird watching!
Hassans Wall Lookout
Hassans Walls Lookout is the highest scenic lookout in the Blue Mountains at approximately 1,100 metres above sea level. Look out to Mount Wilson, Mount York, Mount Tarana and Mount Blaxland and the whole Hartley Valley below. To the south are the Kanimbla and Megalong Valleys.

Grand Canyon Walking Track
This is one of my favourite walks in the Blue Mountains. Surrounded by beautiful sandstone walls and dense forest you can't go wrong with this one, it's just amazing from the beginning to end. The whole loop is around 6.3km so make sure you pack some lunch and don't forget to bring plenty of water.
