As Acre of Roses is a working farm- Sandy and Rob - live on site. They are very discreet and will ensure your stay is as private as you wish.

YOUR COTTAGE
Our two bedroom Miners Cottage has been restored and extended with every modern convenience in. Bullnose verandahs wrap around the entrance and bedrooms offering intimate spaces from which to enjoy garden views. It currently offers accommodation for up to six guests in total, with the further option of a sofa bed).
Bedroom features include Cultiver linen, woollen Bemboka blankets, Seasonal weight duvets, panel heating, your choice of an electric blanket or hot water bottle, and bathrobes for use during your stay together with take home slippers.
When you book to stay, not only do you get to choose your room, you get the cottage to use exclusively.
Choose from:
• The Chinoiserie Room - so named for its delicate furnishings and Asian influences - this room features a queen size bed and French doors that open to a private verandah sitting area.
• The Fornasetti Room - named after its feature wall mural, this room contains a King size bed that can be split into two if required. French doors open to a verandah and swing chair.

Gourmet Kitchen
A well-stocked pantry is the core of any kitchen, so with the assistance of our in-house chef, we have stocked it full of complimentary ingredients ranging from a profusion of organic spices and baking basics to more refined culinary essentials, enabling you to either whip up a simple omelette or create more masterful gourmet delights.
Combine the staples with fresh seasonal produce and herbs from our kitchen potager gardens (when available) , or take a meander down to our local Trentham providores and market to stock up on all your dining and wining essentials –then settle in for a serious culinary session. We’ve even catered for those with specific cooking styles and skills as the kitchen boasts an extensive range of professional cooking equipment. And, for those coffee connoisseurs, a commercial coffee machine and grinder grace the centre stage as a Coffee bar (with of course teas including herbal blends).
Gardens
Acre of Roses is a working micro-flower farm heady with the scent of many organically and sustainably grown heritage rose bushes and a potager kitchen, herb garden and orchard. Viewing is by appointment only in Spring/Summer and Autumn..
Cedar Hot Tub
Our rainwater filled cedar hot tub provides relaxation the natural way, using minerals for purity. Complimentary spa refreshments – herbal teas provided.
Theatre Room
Our theatre room can be used for entertaining, meditating or just chilling out.
Bathroom with Steam Shower Room & Laundry
The spacious guest bathroom was designed for relaxation and indulgence. It is a ‘Room with a View’ and includes double pedestal basins , walk in shower within our Steam Room and a traditional freestanding cast iron claw foot bath, which nestled in a long bay window, allows a view of the landscaped “silver garden” . Hidden behind cupboard doors a European style laundry fulfils all washing and ironing needs.
Enjoy an aromatic and therapeutic soak with Rose Bath Salts. Large Bath towels, hairdryers and hair straighteners are provided for guest convenience. Once refreshed wrap yourself in one of our thick cosy bathrobes slip on your complimentary in-house slippers and then it’s time to relax.
