Tucked away above a gentle creek and rolling valley, this open-plan cabin is made for slowing down and soaking it all in. Step inside to a bright, welcoming space with a comfy lounge, and everything you need in a full kitchen and bathroom.

There is also a solid desk and terrific Wi-Fi, which makes it ideal for study breaks, working remotely, or even sneaking away to finally finish that book you have been meaning to write.

As the day winds down, light the outdoor fireplace, pour a glass of wine, and listen to the creek running below. In the morning, follow the stream to a hidden waterfall, where you can linger on the rocks and feel the cool spray.

It is a place that feels private yet connected to nature, a cabin where you can unwind, explore, and leave feeling refreshed.

Access note: 400-metre dirt road. bumpy but fine for most cars. Not suitable for very low-clearance vehicles.

Stayed for 4 nights over the Easter weekend with my dog and had a lovely and relaxing time. So peaceful and was able to switch off completely. Went for rainforest hikes and explored the local area on ...the property. Took a day to venture out to local cafes and shops and other places for a hike. I highly recommend staying and would love to stay again in the colder months and nights, where I can take advantage of the fire places with a nice glass of red.

We absolutely love our place in the northern Rivers. Glorious Wildlife beautiful weather fresh smells and the sounds of animals and nature all around. We've lovingly built this cabin over the last few years and it is a super relaxing place to stay.

Minyon Falls Base Hike

Minyon Falls Base Hike

Minyon Falls is a 200m drop watefall nestled in the valley of Nightcap National Park. This is the start of multiple walking tracks but we chose to hike to the base and were rewarded with the power of the roaring falls right in front of us!

Nightcap Hikes

This beautiful hike down to the base of Minyon Falls is well worth the huffing and puffing on the way back up. If a challenging hike isn't your thing, the view from the top of Minyon Falls (which can be accessed in an easy five minute walk from the car park) is breathtaking in itself!

Hike To Goonengerry Falls

A place where you can swim in cold pools right near the cliff edge with views of the valley. We watched the sun go down and took in the stunning views. Definitely worth the hike!

We opted for a brief tour of the lookout, which was an easy 10-minute walk each way. However, there are many other hiking and loop options available in the National Park.

Doma Cafe

This Japanese/Aussie fusion cafe was the best place to enjoy a sunny arvo with the kids. The staff are beautiful and the food is AMAZING!

Scenic Drive Through Town Federal

A cool town and an even cooler drive through the hinterlands. Federal situated out of Byron has it all from lemons on the side of the road to cool Japanese restaurants and boutique stores.
