Additional Information
Here is your cabin guide so you can make the most of your stay.
🧾 Cabin Use & Facilities:
Gas & Hot Water
If hot water or gas stops, the bottle may be empty.
Turn the valve to the other gas cylinder (at the back of the cabin) and let us know so we can schedule a refill.
Composting Toilet – Rota-Loo
Use only toilet paper & human waste.
Sprinkle 3 scoops of compost mix or sawdust after each use (provided)
No wipes, sanitary items, food, or liquids. Toilet paper is fine.
Keep lid closed to maintain airflow.
Heating & Cooling
Heating: Use the gas heater — off-grid friendly.
Cooling: Use the aircon only for cooling and only during the day. Leaving aircon on all night will drain the solar and you will be left without power.
Do not use the aircon for heating — it will drain the solar battery.
Turn off when leaving for extended periods.
Woodfired Sauna
Takes ~30 minutes to heat.
Firewood is beside the sauna — take extra in before starting.
Leave the ashtray open to stoke the fire; close when you’re happy with the heat. Add water to the hot rocks for steam (only once rocks are hot).
Wipe down after use and leave the door open for 1–2 hours to allow for moisture to escape.
Ice Bath
For experienced users only — limit use to 1–3 minutes.
Do not change the temperature — heating will drain the solar.
Rinse feet before entering using the hose at the back, and cover after each use.
Gym
Located in the warehouse-style shed (daylight hours only).
Access via the metal gate near the timber gates which lead to the house
Roller doors should be unlocked but if it is locked, keybox is on the side of the shed and the code is 2025. Its a heavy door so needs a strong pull.
20 minute walk from Yutori or 3-4 minute drive
Shared with owners and guests— wipe down all equipment after use.
Please do not use the sauna or ice bath near the gym. You are welcome to take your cabin speakers to the gym however internet connection is poor at the gym.
Fire Pit & BBQs
Pig & Pilgrim Campfire BBQ: Start the fire in the designated fireplace, then move hot coals/wood under the BBQ with a shovel.
Gas BBQ available on deck.
Observe fire bans & extinguish all fires fully after use.
🐾 Wildlife, Pets & Safety
Yutori Cabin is pet-friendly
Please don’t feed the animals.
Respect the space of kangaroos, wombats, and other wildlife.
Keep doors closed to prevent wildlife entering the cabin.
🗑 Rubbish & Recycling
Bin provided under the tiny home if the inside bin is full.
Please dispose of rubbish responsibly.

I came to Yutori intentionally seeking a reset, a place where my nervous system could slow down and regulate, and it delivered exactly that. Being surrounded by nature, with the freedom to bring my do...gs along, made it feel both grounding and expansive at the same time.
Mornings quickly became my favourite ritual. I brought my own Bialetti, and somehow the coffee tasted even better while watching the sunrise behind Mount Marsden, a simple moment that felt deeply restorative.
The space invites you to truly unwind. I loved the seamless indoor-outdoor flow, the quiet, and the presence of so many birds throughout the day. It’s the kind of place where you naturally reconnect with yourself, with nature, and with a slower pace of life.
I left feeling calmer, clearer, and deeply grateful.
