“Boonahview has one of the most amazing views I've experienced at accommodation; with huge glass windows allowing the full expanse of it to be appreciated. Ruth is absolutely wonderful and was very welcoming upon our arrival. The accommodation itself is perfect - the cosy fireplace really adds some country charm!”

“We absolutely loved our 2 night stay at Boonah View! The views are magnificent, we loved how the beds look out onto the views. We kept the blinds open to enjoy the night sky of our vast and spectacular universe from our bed. Ruth left farm fresh eggs in the fridge with breakfast condiments and bread. Plus unexpectedly there was a nice bottle of cold wine in the fridge and a bottle of red in the wine rack if we wanted to indulge. We were very lucky to meet Pete who proudly showed us his Vic Bitter bar with 1980s classic video game machine including a collection of VB paraphernalia, VB fridge, photos, a colourful bar! Our son braved the slide into the refreshing dam. There was even a cute Fred Flintstone car which made a great photo with the spectacular views in the background. We loved Boonah View, it is somewhat isolated, a long way from shops, so be prepared with your supplies but it was truly magnificent not being near shops and hearing cars. Instead we heard birds. Loved it!”

Our stay at Boonahview was such a nice getaway and exactly what we were after. When we arrived, the rain had cleared and the view of the sunset and rays of light shining through the clouds was spectac...ular. Ruth organised for the fire to be lit for us before we arrived to warm up the space which was a nice touch. We really just needed some downtime to sit in bed and read a book with a cosy cuppa looking out at the view so it was perfect for us. Lorne is a short drive away and we had a nice little outing at Teddy's Lookout and saw the biggest rainbow we've ever seen from that viewpoint. Thanks for a very lovely stay Ruth!
