One of two dwellings on a large property abundant with wildlife, Beyond the Vale is the perfect base for discovering the natural beauty of Victoria's Spa Country.

For the nature enthusiasts, don the hiking boots for a short walk to Sailors Falls and quench your thirst with the local spring water. If it's adventure you're after, there are forest trails leading into Wombat State Forest at the rear.

Whether it's shopping or cafe-culture, a 6-minute drive will find you in the quaint town of Daylesford; while for the foodies, acclaimed restaurant Sault is only around the bend. Just don't be surprised if you choose to stay put. Our Tiny Home has been designed with all the feels, including:

We stayed overnight and had the most amazing time, it was so peaceful and relaxing! The place was so beautiful. The bath was 10/10, not far from Daylesford, was easy to call in and have a look around.... Absolutely recommend, we had the best time, truely wonderful. Doreen was awesome & let us know about everything. We are ready to come back!! Highly recommend

A fantastic stay, perfectly secluded and the right atmosphere to unwind and get away from the noise of work, the city etc. Comfortable beds, comfortable couch, amazing outdoor bath. Would do it again, absolutely!

The purest spring water you can find at Sailors Falls Spring. Load up your water bottles friends!

Waterfall magic! Some stairs and a little steep although easy to access friends! Beautiful falls especially after the rain. I got up nice and personal.

Goldfields Six Waterfall Drive

Love waterfalls? Why not drive the Goldfields countryside to visit six beautiful waterfalls located in the area? There's Sailor's Falls outside of Daylesford, Loddon Falls in Glenlyon, The Cascades in Metcalfe, Turpins Falls in Langley, Trentham Falls in Trentham and Stanley Park Waterfall in Mount Macedon. It's about 3 hours of driving between them all but allow longer for enjoying time at each of the waterfalls. All dog-friendly.

Sailors Falls

Sailors Falls can be done via a lovely walking loop or by parking your car close by and taking the stairs. There was around 200 steps and a little bit of rock scrambling at the base. A peaceful spot to take in some waterfall spray and bask in the nature.

We checked out sailors falls on the way into Daylesford. and the walk that goes down to the springs. We found it to be a very peaceful little walk.

A short walk to Sailors Falls along a fern-lined creek leads you to the base of the waterfall which looks up to an impressive rockface. It's a beautiful quiet spot for a romantic picnic.
