The Dome at Maple Park Farm was the perfect place for a mid winter getaway with my partner and two dogs. The dome is well set up with amenities and we loved being cosy inside and looking out through t...he trees and over the dam. The spa on the deck was delightful! Bed very comfortable. We enjoyed walking around the farm and visiting the animals too. Michael is a thoughtful and friendly host, and an excellent communicator. Thank you, we look forward to staying again!

My parter, doggo & myself had the most amazing weekend at The Dome at Maple Park Farm. We were met by Michael upon arrival & he had organised a delicious breakfast and platter for us!
We spent the ar...vo by the fire on the deck looking out at BEAUTIFUL view, had a nice dinner on the bbq and then a late night dip in the spa.
Safe to say we did not want to go home!

Commercial Hotel
After a hike on a hot day, a much needed beer and food at the commercial was an absolute treat.
Epic Sunrise Spot
A stunning sunrise spot overlooking the surrounding areas. If you go on a foggy morning, chances are you can see a blanket of clouds beneath you as the sun rises over it.
Murchison Gap Lookout
Great lookout across the Valley of a Thousand Hills, best at sunset and sunrise. Magic View!
Strath Creek Falls
Though a bit dry on our visit, still worth a walk down to the imposing gorge. Great workout coming back up the stairs. Would be an epic fall with some rain.
The General Strath Creek
Great new cafe, general store, post office, bar, you name it. Lovely setup in a restored barn, good coffee and portuguese tarts, everything you need.
Mountain Track
Seeing the ranges from the accomodation, we had to go explore. Mountain track is steep but not too long and has a rewarding view at the top, we even met a couple of cute dogs guarding the tower.
