Located a 5 minutes drive to Bowrals Main Street, Laurentana House and Cottage are quintessential Southern Highlands charm. Both the house and the cottage are perfect for wedding photography and we pride ourselves on accommodating bridal parties who wish to utilise our home and grounds for photography.

The Estate is incredibly private and secluded behind large, gated manicured gardens.

The property also features a large solar heated pool.

Lauretana House and Cottage is equipped with all the luxury requirements you may need and more including

- The main residence features a roaring fireplace, heating system and cooling fans.

THE MAIN RESIDENCE
The main residence sleeps a maximum of 8 adults and features:

Bedrooms:
- Master bedroom with queen bed and ensuite
- Two Queen Size bedrooms with queen beds
- One Queen Size bedroom with double bed

THE COTTAGE
The cottage sleeps a maximum of 4 adults and features:

- Master bedroom with queen bed
- 1 air mattress in the living room
- 1 bathroom w/ a shower and toilet

Bathrooms:
- All bathrooms come complete with complimentary organic shampoo, conditioner and body wash
- All bathrooms come with hotel-quality towels, bathmats and hand soap
- All bathrooms come with heating (in the main house, not in the cottage)

** Strictly no parties, and unfortunately we cannot host weddings on our grounds.**

We love having guests who want to visit the highlands for weddings, or want to have a reception elsewhere and utilise our property for wedding photography, or accommodation for after the ceremony / reception.

*Check-in details will be sent either the night before checking in, or the morning of check-in for security reasons.

* We only provide 1 set of keys for each stay. We do not have extra sets.

*If you are in need of beach towels for your stay, we can provide them to you for a fee of $20 per towel. Just let us know how many towels you will be needing and we can get this organised before your stay!

HOUSE RULES
* Check-in after 3 pm; check-out before 10 am. Fees may apply for changes. Approval required first.
* No smoking allowed
* Strictly No parties or events allowed.
* No Pets allowed.
* Air mattress can be provided in the cottage upon request, for a fee if less than 12 guests booked.
* Guests must follow NSW Short Term Legislation.
* Max 12 overnight guests, 6 day visitors, 18 people total at any time.
* Only approved guests/visitors allowed (written permission required).
* Strict no-smoking policy; $500 fine may apply.
* Respect neighbours; keep noise low, especially after 9 pm.
* Breaking rules may result in eviction without refund (STRA terms apply).
* Date changes allowed only if more than 1 month before check-in, subject to approval/surcharges.

There were so many times in my corporate life where I would be sitting at my desk thinking “just get me away”! Getawayz NSW offers some of the most premium inner-city homes, beautiful country cottages, luxury eco-cabins to grand homesteads as well as some of NSW’s most gorgeous beach homes. I (James, the Managing Director) have never been one to feel boxed in or be put in a box - I like to think outside the box! I wanted to create a brand that shows no matter what you are after in NSW, Getawayz will be able to give you a premium offering no matter what the area. Located 30 mins from Aruna estate, Bowral has no shortage of great coffee and antique stores to find some hidden gems and sip on tasty brews while you shop. Salters and Dirty Janes are a must-visit!

Plantation Cafe

After a jaunt in Dirty Janes, I stumbled upon Plantation and it was an absolute joy. The interior is stunning, breezy yet cozy and the staff were so friendly.

Lunch At The Press Shop

A chic cafe with a great menu, great coffee and light-filled interiors. I came here a couple of times for lunch and sat in the window with a journal.

A picturesquely curious corner of Bowral with one of the biggest antique stores I've ever been into. Dirty Jane's is a sweet plant nursery and homewares store with a stunning cafe/restaurant with the coolest interiors around. I highly recommend perusing the antique stalls before settling yourself down at a garden table at Harry's with a glass of vino.

Bowral Town

We walked through town on a rainy day. There were plenty of unique boutique shops, restaurants, and cafes to choose from!

Small Town Coffee Run

We drove out to a small town called Bowral, walked down the main strip to look for a coffee shop to sit in, and slowly sipped our coffee as we remembered our time away. It was the best way to end our stay, and Bowral has lots of shops you can visit to buy antiques and local artisanal goods.
