Heathcote Homestead – Soak, Sauna, Unwind

The Heathcote Homestead — Luxury Countryside Escape

A four person infrared sauna, set over a private dam, with nothing but paddocks and sky for company. This is where The Homestead starts.

Brand new and set on 6 private acres in Heathcote wine country, this is a house built for slowing down. Vaulted ceilings and a wall of glass frame the landscape from the open plan living, dining and kitchen space, with a fireplace at its centre for the cooler months. The kitchen and butler's pantry are built for real cooking and shared meals, not just show.

Three bedrooms, each with its own ensuite. Two open onto private balconies with outdoor baths. Soak at sunrise, watch the light change over the paddocks at dusk. The third has its own indoor bath, a quieter retreat tucked away from the rest of the house.

Outside, six acres to wander, a dam to sit by, and gardens still finding their feet. Newly planted and growing in alongside the house, so every stay here is part of watching this place come into itself.

Ten minutes from Heathcote township, right in the heart of wine country.

Notes

Please note the property is located next to an unfenced dam. Guests are responsible for their own safety and the supervision of children and pets around the water at all times. Please exercise caution, especially at night. The ground around the dam can also become muddy, so please take care to ensure the house, furniture and carpets are not soiled or damaged as a result.

Room access is tied to the number of guests booked, not simply how many rooms you'd like to use. This is because cleaning and linen costs are set per room, not per guest. If two guests would like access to more than one bedroom, please book for three people. If three guests would like access to more than two bedrooms, please book for five people. Any bedroom not included in your booking will be locked and unavailable for use during your stay. If you're unsure which booking size suits your group, please message us before booking and we're happy to help.

House trained pets are welcome with prior approval. As the property is unfenced, pets must be kept under supervision at all times. Pets are not permitted on furniture, including beds and couches, and must not be left unattended in the house. The laundry and butler's pantry can be used as a safe space for your pet if needed. An additional cleaning fee, above the standard pet fee, will apply if extra cleaning is required as a result of a pet stay.

Please note our gardens have recently been planted and are still establishing. While the grounds are beautiful to explore, please excuse the young landscaping as it grows in over the coming seasons; we appreciate your understanding as we continue to develop the property.

Guests will have full private use of the property for the duration of their stay. There are no shared spaces and no other guests on site, so you're free to enjoy the house, gardens and grounds entirely to yourselves.

Guest interaction: Check in details and access codes will be provided ahead of your stay. We're available via email, message or through riparide for anything you need before, during or after your visit.

Hi, I'm Jacob, a Melbourne-based host with 10 years of short-stay experience. I also run a café & catering business in Melbourne and a seasonal café on the Mornington Peninsula, so food and hospitality is what I do. I bring that same care to every stay: thoughtful touches, spotless spaces and a genuine welcome. As a keen traveller, I host the way I like to be hosted, with clear communication, no fuss and great local tips. Whether it's a weekend escape or a longer stay, I'd love to have you.

Homely and delicious is all I can say. We enjoyed chicken and leek filo parcels and finger licking fried chicken. Arguably the best coffee in town!

Enjoy a short walk with beautiful views over Heathcote. We went during sunrise and the sun rose behind us through the trees. I'd expect it is even more special at sunset.
