Frog’s Hollow Lake House was even better than we expected and the perfect place to leave the busyness of everyday life behind.
The property was a beautiful escape where you can truly switch off and re...lax, or, if you’re feeling more adventurous, make the most of the paddleboards, kayaks and other activities provided on the lake.
I could have sat on the deck all day, simply taking in the peaceful surroundings and watching the wildlife come and go around the property. It was such a beautiful and relaxing experience.
We also ventured out to Whian Whian Waterfalls, which did not disappoint — absolutely stunning and well worth the visit.

Just wow!
This spot is truly something special. My husband and I had the most relaxing few days. It really is a little sanctuary, where you can switch off and just be.
From watching the birds, to paddling around on in the boat, it's all just magical.

Lovely spot with some wondrful hosts to make it feel especially amazing. Lake views were beautiful at all times of the day and provided the perfect backdrop to reading on the day-bed. I would happily recommend this to anyone and I'd love to come back some time.

Nimbin Candles
Nimbin Candles have been producing non-toxic, hand-dipped, traditionally made candles since 1973. The shop is basically in the factory so you can watch candles being made while browsing the many unique and colourful candles and beautiful scents. They have rad tee-shirts for sale too!
Armonica Cafe For Pizza Beer
Nimbin is only 15 minutes drive and has a bunch of good places to grab dinner. We had a great wood fire Pizza at Armonica Cafe.
Nightcap National Park
Explore this lush rainforest, which is home to a number of threatened species including Albert’s Lyrebird and the Barred Frog. Take in the beautiful scenery and enjoy a bushwalk and picnic amid the parks crystal clear creeks, waterfalls and views of the Wollumbin Volcano.

After a beautiful 15 minute walk through the forest, we arrived at Protesters Falls. There had been a bit of rain which meant there was plenty of water coming over the falls. We had the place to ourselves and loved walking behind the waterfall.

Nestled in the ranges of Nightcap National Park, the world Heritage listed falls is spectacular. Follow the track past palm glades and the towering rainforest strangler figs to the falls, an ideal short walk for nature lovers.

Lyrebird Track is a short walk in the beautiful Wollumbin National Park that leads from Mount Warning Road over Breakfast Creek to an impressive lookout over subtropical rainforest.
