The Sailors Shack has it all. Great location, quiet but central, plenty of space, nicely styled with high end linen and finishes. The back deck is everything and perfect for all weather and seasons. We loved our stay and would definitely return to this property.

We had a relaxing and fun family time at the Sailor Shack. The generous, newly renovated space, modern amenities, breezy rooms and tasteful vintage décor all contributed to the experience. The towels ...were so soft and the natural fibre bedlinen excellent quality. We appreciated being able to bring our dogs who enjoyed the big upstairs veranda and fully fenced yard downstairs. We would walk them to the nearby Cafe in the early morning, grab a cuppa and sit by the river for a while.
It's a wonderful place. Thank you for having us Ming and to Kelly for making us feel welcome.

We had a fabulous stay at The Sailor Shack. So relaxing to kick back on the deck after a tough match at the table tennis table.

It is just as it looks in the photos - a great kitchen for preparing m...eals to share, the beds comfy and the bathrooms fun and functional.

We loved it so much we didn't want to leave.

Jump Rock At Angourie Blue Pools

If you're after a bit of an adrenaline kick, hop on over to Angourie Green Pool! Height ranges from 5-10m with local making us look like wimps. You could either swim across the pool to climb the rock or there's a 5min walk to the left that takes you around to the top!

The Angourie Blue And Green Pools

The Angourie Blue and Green pools are extremely deep and are very popular freshwater swimming holes. These freshwater pools are subject to algae blooms especially over the warmer months and may not be suitable for swimming at times. Best to check before you visit if planning to swim. The pools are unsupervised and there are submerged rock outcrops around the edge. When swimming people need to be aware that the pools are very deep and that there are risks associated with swimming here.

Red Cliff Beach

Red Cliff Beach was beyond beautiful, and the campsite 5m from the beach is also a great looking spot if you're travelling by with a tent next time. We took a volleyball down as well as some snorkelling gear to keep us busy!

Fishing

Explore the beautiful Clarence River; Yamba attracts anglers with its beach, estuary and rock fishing. You can discover the river with Yamba Kayak and Adventure Tours. Deep-sea fishing is also popular.
