Goolawah means ‘yesterday’ in the Dunghutti language. The land is significant to local Aboriginal people, and their word for it is appropriate. Goolawah is exactly like yesterday – untouched by the footprint of development. This is what draws back visitors year after year.

We arrived at Banksia around 9pm after a 4.5 hour drive, Summer and Knox had left the lights on for us and made the beds.
The cabin was super cosy, it's an A-frame style cabin with an open plan loft, ...with 1 queen bed, and 3 singles, plenty of room for some friends or a family.
The lower level has the lounge / dining / kitchen area, a wood fire place, and bathroom / laundry.
There is an outdoor balcony with undercover seating, a table and BBQ.
The property is a short 2klm drive from Crescent Head, where you can find the local supermarket, pub, bottle shop, chemist and multiple cafes and restaurants.
We had a nice time exploring around Crescent Head, the lookout above the town had spectacular view's of the coastline.
We highly recommend visiting Goolawah Bush and Beach Retreat and crescent head.
Thank you, we both had a relaxing weekend,
Byron & Alex.
