Well positioned between Anglesea and Torquay-it was a tidy shack for a few nights.

With no heating or cooling though it would be ideal on a weekend with no rain or high temps.
No internet at all-wh...ich was noted-but-if you’d like to reach the host-which I did as there was no power or water (due to an outage) I luckily could tap into the wifi I took with me. I would have had to drive out to get internet otherwise.

Given it’s facing a big line of trees and the toilet is a short walk from the shack, I personally prob should have stayed there with my partner, and would feel a bit safer-but the host’s house is just behind it, so you definitely aren’t in the wild solo.

Bed was very comfy but I had nowhere to sit in the day, to chill, besides the bed, as it was just too wet. I think it’s shown me I’d prefer a cottage with a bit more room and a toilet/basin but I’m sure some may like it.

Renee’s container retreat is the perfect rural hideaway. Being able to fully switch off with the log fire was a special treat and we were perfectly located to explore the great ocean road during the day!

This wasn't quite what we were after for the trip, but that's on us! We probably should have been more wary of the outside kitchen and lack of toilet in the space - particularly with a pregnant lady a...nd POURING rain. The owners were very accommodating of our little dog though at the last minute which we were thankful for. There was ants falling from the roof quite a lot and things were a little grubby, but it was still a nice space - particularly with the outdoor fireplace.
