Additional Information
GLAMPING
This canvas safari tent sits lightly on the sloping land amongst the shading Pittwater Spotted Gums. Elevated above the ground to give privacy and take advantage of the northern sea breezes, the accommodation offers a unique closeness to the surrounding bush without having to go through all the hassle of pitching a tent or sleeping on a deflated air mattress.
The tent platform is made from Western Australian Jarrah Wood and there is full insect screening and layers of white canvas draped all round. We are connected to town water, gas and electricity with an instantaneous hot water unit supplying endless hot water. We have included Organic bedlinen and towels, a luxurious freestanding bath and comfortable Queen size bed in a beautifully furnished space reminiscent of yesteryear to make your glamping stay like no other. There is a gas heater available during the colder months and fans for those hot summer nights.
Guests have access to own garden and private entrance.
The tent sits privately at the front of our property but we are available for anything you need during your stay.
We are located across the road from Clareville Beach where you will be able to relax in the shade under a tree, swim in beautiful Pittwater, jump off the jetty at the end of the beach or take stand-up paddle board lessons. You can bring a picnic, have a bbq on the beach or enjoy dinner at the famous Clareville Kiosk. A ten minute walk up the road will bring you to Clareville Shops where you'll find a cafe, mini-market, restaurant and wine merchant.
There is a bus stop at the bottom of the property with buses going to Avalon and Mona Vale. If you are energetic the walk to Avalon takes around 40min or why not bring the bikes? It's a hilly ride but well worth it. If you drive a car you will have easy access to all the surrounding beaches and attractions.
The tent is private but there are neighbours around

Not all all like the pictures, inside was not clean at all it was filthy, there was an ant inside the sugar container and there were ants all over the coffee table, no privacy at all, right next to th...e road and metres from the house next door, very noisy and got woken up at 7am by the construction and drilling across the road, very disappointed 😞

Classic Coffee With A Sunrise View
This converted US postal truck turned coffee shop is parked on the South Avalon Headland everyday at dawn. This spot was buzzing with locals who come to watch the sunrise whilst enjoying a delicious coffee.
Avalon Beach
The board riding community here is large and enthusiastic. North Avalon breaks along the north headland and a nearby sandbank and attracts lots of long boarders. The edge of the south cliff is known as Little Avalon; here the swell sucks up hard on a shallow rock shelf to produce fast-barrelling tube rides.
The Newport
The perfect spot to relax, watch the sunset, listen to live music, and sip delicious cocktails. Great for lunch or dinner with awesome wood fire pizza.
Summer Bay At Palm Beach
Palm Beach is the setting for Summer Bay in the Australian soap opera 'Home & Away'. It doesn't matter if you are a fan or not, it's still a stunning beach to take a stroll or go for a swim.
Manly Surf School
Learn to surf at Sydney Palm Beach with Manly Surf School. Group or private lessons. Or bring your board and throw yourself in at any of our world class beaches in the surrounding area.
