The view was absolutely amazing, and so was the nature surrounding the property. We loved seeing the beautiful birds around the house and the lovely trees. The stone cottage itself was incredibly char...ming, and the host was very nice and welcoming.
The location was great, with access to the sea, a wonderful wood fire, and even a rainbow during our stay! 🌈 We had such a lovely and relaxing time. 🙏
The only small thing my partner missed was having curtains, but we had a fantastic stay and would definitely remember this beautiful place.

We had a wonderful stay at Stone Cottage. The views are incredible, the setting is peaceful and private, and the cottage itself is full of character and charm. It was the perfect place to switch off, ...enjoy nature, and explore the beautiful coastline.
Jenny was lovely, incredibly kind, and so helpful with local knowledge and dog-friendly recommendations for us.
Already looking forward to returning.

Thank you Jenny for being such a great host. Stone cottage was more than we were hoping for. The walks, bird life and daily whale watching from our window just added to our stay.

Waves Shells And Rockpools
This quiet and secluded beach can be accessed right from the property. We loved exploring the rock pools and collecting shells here while our boy Mr Pickles had the freedom to run around. This spot also takes you to the Great Ocean Walk Trail which snakes around the coastline.

Beach Walk At Marengo Beach
Such a stunning place for an early morning beach walk. You might even want to brave the water!

Marengo Reef
Sipping freshly made coffee we spotted whales migrating and Australian fur seals lounging on the reefs – don’t forget your binoculars.
Wildlife Wonders Sanctuary Tour
Spot a koala on a guided nature walk in the wildlife sanctuary, unwind with a great coffee, or find a delightful gift in our shop, your visit directly supports the ongoing environmental conservation of the unique Otways environment.
Apollo Bay Distillery
Whether you're stopping by Apollo Bay for a quick stopover or you want to slow down and relax with your road trip buddies, this is the place to be. With their handcrafted gins distilled on-site and using local botanicals, what's not to love? A freshly made wood-fired pizza will pair perfectly with one of their unique gins. You won't be disappointed.
Pints And Polaroids
A local gave us a tip to check out Tastes of the Region at The Great Ocean Road Brewhouse. It didn't disappoint, with a selection of local wines, beers and gins. The customary dog polaroid after a pint and our family portrait was a beautiful reminder of our time at The Tasting Room.
Healthy Breaky At Icaro Cafe
The best place to get a fantastic oat milk latté, delicious smashed avo and an acai bowl.
