The perfect place to relax and unwind with breathtaking views! It was rainy whilst we were here but still such a beautiful property to get some true rest and re-centre.
Everything in the house was pe...rfectly appointed, communication was excellent and we enjoyed a very special private dining experience whilst we were here which elevated the views and surroundings even more! Thank you Tara.

Staying at Simpson Cottage was an absolutely magical experience. The views, location, and furnishings were pure perfection. During the day, we had friends join us at the cottage for a birthday lunch a...nd we seated 10 people easily inside the Gazebo. We also loved that there were so many different options around the property for dining or just lazing about. After lunch it’s a short stroll down a private path to the water for a dip. Tara was a great host and made sure we had everything we could possibly need. It was so hard to leave.

The location of Simpson Cottage is unbeatable. Very private, tucked in amongst the trees, yet a short meander down the hill to the water's edge. Sensational bed linens. Lots of bird visitors wandering... around the lawns.
We stayed during the relentless rain of late March, so our outdoor plans had to be shelved, but the cottage is big enough that we could all spread out and enjoy being indoors. With raincoats and umbrellas we explored Bonnie Vale beach, round to the mangroves of Cabbage Tree Basin, and it is honestly a paradise for nature lovers. Tara is a wonderful host, very good on the communications.
Thoroughly recommend!

Secluded Beach Down A Private Track

Wander down to the back of the property and you'll find a private track which leads down to a secluded beach. We had the entire beach to ourselves and watched the sun go down while the kids collected shells to add to the collection they found on a windowsill of the cottage.

Bundeena Town Beach And Supplies Stop

We stopped into the IGA in Bundeena to grab some supplies before heading to our accomodation for the night. The small group of shops are directly across from this beautiful beach so we took a stroll before heading back.

Hire A Row Boat Or Kayak At Audley Boatshed

We stopped in to the Audley Boatshed and took the kids on a row boat ride. It was so nice to just take in the nature around us before our drive back to Sydney. The kids skimmed rocks on the lake and followed baby ducklings around on the lawn before we grabbed coffee and lunch at the Audley Dance Hall Cafe!

Lunch At Audley Dance Hall Cafe

We filled up on lunch and grabbed a coffee to go for our trip back to Sydney. The cafe has plenty of seating, a gift shop supporting local artists and creatives and a big menu catering to all dietary requirements. It was nice to sit outside and enjoy the view over the lake. The kids ran around on the lawn out front where we could keep an eye them while we finished off our meals. Bliss!
