Adsum Farmhouse was the most perfectly thought out, cosy country escape! It was the perfect place to switch off and unwind. I cannot recommend this beautifully put together space more. Fiona and co h...ave thought of it all, from a fresh loaf of bread awaiting your arrival to the comfiest bed, with the small touches of a home away from home. Looking forward to returning :)

We had a lovely stay at Adsum. The farmhouse was heated for our arrival, with lots of cosy touches such as soft blankets, rugs and cushions. The breakfast items were lovely and the fruit bowl containe...d some lovely figs which made a great addition to our cheese platter.

Every detail in the farmhouse was thought about, games and dvds, a snack bar and even down to leaving a picnic blanket, an umbrella and a torch - prepared for any occasion. We actually used the torch when we went aurora spotting nearby.

Communication was clear and super helpful and we found the place and entered with ease. The side entrance and private porch made the farmhouse seen very private and the surrounding flowerbeds/gardens are gorgeous - overall i would not hesitate to stay at Adsum again.

Loddon Falls

Just a short drive from the small village of Glenlyon you will find the beautiful Loddon Falls. Follow the dirt road through farmland until you reach the gate to the reserve. Park the car and take the track to the information board, from here walk towards the river to find the rocky track down to the falls. Be rewarded with picturesque views of the falls. A great place to for a swim to cool off in summer.

Wine Dine At Red Hare Estate

With the majority of the surrounding wineries only being open on the weekend, Red Hare only closes their doors on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. Rain, hail or shine, you can enjoy a wine tasting outside in the garden with the view of the vines or inside next to a crackling fireplace.

Taste The Hepburn Mineral Springs

Did you know... all of Australia's mineral springs occur in Victoria!? With the two main locations being Daylesford and Hepburn it is a MUST do when you visit. Learn a little bit about the history of the springs, taste the water (with caution haha.. I wasn't a fan) and if the weather permits enjoy the beautiful nature walk the springs are placed along.

Enjoy Extraordinary Wines And Produce At Winespeake Cellar Deli

If you're a true wine lover like myself, then you will appreciate the wines this cosy little cellar has in stock. They seek out the most sought-after wines from all over the world and then pair them with just as sought-after deli produce. Take a seat at the window and enjoy an in-house tasting or take a selection of your favourite things back to your accommodation to enjoy.

Pancho Cafe

Because what day full of adventure can possibly start without COFFEE! Pancho Cafe is located in the picturesque hillside of Daylesford and is a family-run business providing its customers with fresh and locally sourced produce. Their coffee is delicious (coming from a Melbourne coffee snob) and you can't go past their fresh-out-of-the-oven muffins to go with it!
