Amazing views, and great location for exploring Macedon region. Accom had everything needed and thoughtful provisions left for breakfast / snacks.

We loved the Fellcroft Farmstay. We stayed in the Kingfisher. Magnificent views - whether it’s dry or wet weather, we felt very cozy. Veronica is a first class host. We’d love to come back again to explore more of the Mount Macedon region. Thanks Veronica.

An absolutely perfect getaway. The cottage is impeccably decked out, with outstanding views. Communication with Veronica was easy and thorough. She provided a bounty of breakfast items, wine and nibbl...es and everything we could need. The weather during our visit was ridiculously hot but the central refrigerated cooling kept us nice and comfortable. Looking forward to visiting again in the cool weather so we can use the fire pit.

Six generations of the Crozier family have been farming at the foothills of the Cobaw State Forest, in the Macedon Ranges since 1862.
The original Crozier homestead was built in 1862 by Andrew and Mary Crozier. The homestead can still be seen from both quarters.
Fellcroft has been a continuously working farm since 1862. Today Fellcroft is engaged in the ethical production of premium lamb and beef.
Best practice, sustainable land management and ethical animal husbandry are at the core of everything we do.
Indeed we see ourselves as the caretakers of this special place and are delighted to be sharing it with you for the first time in our history.
The accommodation programme started in 2018. From the beginning it was important we crafted buildings that were comfortable for our guests but also allowed for minimal aesthetic impact on the landscape, hence the “shearers quarters” aesthetic was born.
This has been central to the design process and has allowed us to use mostly recycled materials throughout the project that have largely been sourced from the farm.

Wine Tastings At Lloyds Winery
There's an abundance of incredibly beautiful wineries in the area. We loved driving through the mountains and doing a few wine tastings, Lyons and Wills were one of our favourites.
Lunch At Hanging Rock Winery
We sat in the sun drenched garden overlooking the vineyards while we ate charcuterie lunch and sampled the local wines. The rose is a must try!

Hike thirty minutes to the top of Hanging Rock and you'll enjoy an amazing lookout. It's steep, but worth it! Note they charge a $10 fee.

After we walked to the top of Hanging Rock we were naturally famished, so when we noticed the local markets at the base of the mountain, we couldn't resist. So many fanatic local brands, producers and artists. I would highly recommend visiting if you are keen on markets, or if you are visiting Hanging Rock itself. Just keep in mind that the markets close at 2pm, so we only just made it in time to get some food after our hike.
