Daylesford Longhouse is a place of residence, working farm and cooking school – all in one. While most houses provide a sense of retreat from the outside world, Daylesford Longhouse brings the outside in, allowing guests to enjoy both the farm life and the comfort of a home.

Drawing inspiration from River Cottage and the 70’s series ‘The Good Life’, Daylesford Longhouse is the culmination of owners Trace and Ronnen’s passion for food & cooking, animal husbandry, gardening and self-sufficiency.

    Roaming The Farm

Two strong steers, a nurturing cow, two cute calves, two curious goats, four friendly dogs, heaps of hungry pigs and a whole lot of ducks. Roaming the farm at sunset with Trace and meeting the animals of the Daylesford Longhouse was an experience for the books!...

      Making Soap With Ronnen

The perfect Sunday morning activity! We’re so grateful to Ronnen for giving us our very own private soap-making lesson! Using ingredients derived from the farm, we learnt how to make lush, fresh soap. A dream!...
