Unfortunately this was a disappointing experience and the place was nothing like the pictures on your website! Property was overgrown with scattered debris lying around. Looked like an abandoned farm ...property. Cottage was old and not maintained. Owner was very slow in responding to messages on this platform. Owner needs to take more of an interest in its up keeping if they wish people to pay the money they are charging.

Captains Creek Winery
You can have a cellar door tasting experience or site back with a meal and a glass of organic wines that are grown all around you. If you speak with the owners you can learn all about the history of the farm, wine and eco-village. An absolute must-see.
Hepburn Lagoon Trail Rides
The Hepburn Lagoon Trail Rides will take you from Blampied through the local forests on a 2-3 hour return ride. It was my first time riding and the owner Kieren was extremely knowledgeable and helpful in bringing me up to speed. We were able to trot and even canter if he gave you the all-clear. An exhilarating experience. Don't expect to take a camera or a backpack when you ride as it will be too difficult to control.
Cliffys Cafe
This cafe is located just outside of the main strip in Daylesford. Enjoy incredible locally sourced food and a plethora of local produce inside the cafe.
Loddon Falls
Just a short drive from the small village of Glenlyon you will find the beautiful Loddon Falls. Follow the dirt road through farmland until you reach the gate to the reserve. Park the car and take the track to the information board, from here walk towards the river to find the rocky track down to the falls. Be rewarded with picturesque views of the falls. A great place to for a swim to cool off in summer.

Trentham Falls
Discover the beautiful and lush Trentham Falls, Victoria's highest single-drop waterfall. The falls were formed some five million years ago by molten lava rapidly cooling as it flowed along the old Coliban River valley. Trentham waterfall cascades 32 metres onto the quartz gravel below. Located in the Wombat State Forest, this natural wonder is particularly enchanting in winter when every moss covered rock and fern glistens with water.
Fishing
Fish the Upper Coliban Reservoir and Malmsbury Reservoir and catch Trout and Redfin all year round. Take in the beautiful surrounds of picturesque forest and farmland.
