Torquay Farm Stay Studio Truck

in Freshwater Creek, Victoria, AU

Once a horse truck, this renovated 1970 dodge is now an architecturally designed studio apartment. The truck design maximises the space allowing for a large loft bedroom area and small combined kitchen and living space, with a pot belly fire.

The potbelly stove and barbecue are available for cooking. Guests will wake up to a beautiful view over the wetlands and Thompson's creek.

Depending on the season and time of day, there may be opportunities for farm activities such as fruit picking, animal feeding and observing milking. We like to welcome you personally on your arrival and give you a guided tour of the farm and the facilities if possible.

The Freshwater Creek farm, located 15mins from Torquay and the Great Ocean Road, is the perfect location for a peaceful getaway, and it is only a short drive from the beach. 'The Farmer's Place' next to the property is a popular cafe which sustainably grows and serves its own food.

We prepare our lunch with produce from the garden and we all bring something to share. Ask Mary Rose what you can bring to share if you would like to join in.
