So good I almost don't want to share it with people!! The serenity was unmatched with the most perfect view on the top of a hill. The garden and cabin were so well taken-care of and had every amenity ...you could need for a cosy stay. Probably THE most detailed welcome book I've ever seen to answer any question you might have as well - stocked with information and recommendations.
The sunsets were absolutely incredible over the river and was lovely to be able to enjoy on the deck, or the viewing room in wet weather.
You could feel the love and care Cassie put into the entire cabin which makes you want to take care of it too.
Perfect for a quiet getaway and definitely not suitable for partying.

My husband and I love escaping Sydney and exploring the bush. We are working hard making improvements, landscaping our property to be a haven for people, animals, and birds. The mod cons are also important to us so we have great WIFI coverage!

Colo River
Colo River is a great place for BYO boating, kayaking and fishing. The river is accessible via a scenic 20min bush walk down to a small jetty. There are good spots to stop and rest on the way back up. Closest boat ramp 5min drive away.
Bush Walk River Swim
There's a couple of walking tracks along and down to the river. Its on the edge of the cliff, so please be extra careful. I went for a swim too although I do strongly recommend a board or some kind of floating device as the its a tidal river. It doesn't look really strong but trust me it is. Super fun exploring the sand bar across the other side.

Hawkesbury Region
Do breakfast or lunch at the nearest café 15 mins down a scenic country road. Take a trip across the ferry to explore the Hawkesbury and do lunch at a local pub. Explore other swimming spots along the Colo River.
