One of the most amazing places if you love a quiet, calm environment.
It’s a beautiful farmhouse where you can walk around the farm and see sheep up close. If you love stargazing, this is a top spot ⭐️...
Karen is so friendly and a lovely woman.
She also gave us homemade yogurt and jam, which was wonderful.

We live on 1400 acres of pristine farmland near the Grampians. My husband and son run our farm of 4500 merino sheep growing quality wool for the world. This gives me time to host guest at my little B&B which I love to do. Having a short chat with you when you arrive makes my day and gives me the people time I need and helps you feel connected. I have really enjoyed hosting so many people over the last 11 years and look forward to meeting you soon :)

Royal Mail Kitchen Garden
If you love food like us you can’t miss out on visiting the Royal Mail Hotel’s kitchen garden. This is Australia’s largest working restaurant kitchen garden where all the products for the hotel restaurant are grown onsite and harvested daily by the chefs. We were lucky enough to be taken around the garden by one of the chefs who showcased everything in the beautiful space. It was incredible to hear from the chef about the challenges and way that they use the products in a commercial kitchen. It’s safe to say that we had a further appreciation for the food the chef put on our plate later that evening.
Delicious Coffees And Croissants At The Old Bakery
A cute little bakery in Dunkeld where we sat outside and enjoyed delicious croissants and coffees! The staff are so lovely as well.

The Dunkeld Old Bakery
If you're like us and need a coffee fix before your day really starts head to the Dunkeld Old Bakery. These guys started baking back in 1887 and you can see why they are still here as all their food is delicious. They even still use the same bread oven from back then. Be sure to try their sausage rolls and pick up some fruit from the community sharing cart.
Mount Sturgeon Walk
Suitable to for the fit and adventurous, this 7km walk involves water crossings and rock hopping. Reaching the summit you are rewarded with views of the surrounding volcanic plains and ranges.

Mt Sturgeon Hike
A 7km round trip to the top and back, this hike will get your heart pumping both due to gradient and the views from the top. It may take you longer than you think as like us we had to keep stopping to appreciate the views and capture some photos. We would allow 2.5-3 hours to do the round trip. Make sure you stop by the General Store beforehand and pick up some food for a picnic at the top. Other hikes we also did were Mt Abrupt and the Pinnacles.
Hike Up To Piccaninny Bainggug
A short 45-minute easy hike up to the summit of Piccaninny with stunning views of Mt. Abrupt and surrounding areas!
