Energy of the Grampians
The next morning we checked the chicken roost for eggs and watched the sunrise over the mountains at the Balconies. We moved onto the Pinnacle walk and as we walked the clouds started to clear and we were greeted at the pinnacle with amazing light breaking through the clouds and some of the most spectacular views! We got a coffee fix at Harvest, a local café in Halls Gap, then continued on down the road from the cottage to Pomonal Estate to try their wine & Beer. The Pale Ale is my favourite!
For sunset we headed back to the Redgum Log Cottage to explore the property, relax looking out over the mountains and stargaze. The skies were the clearest I have seen in years, anywhere, an experience I won’t forget. I can still feel the energy of the grampians days after leaving....
