Mountain Magic

A peaceful retreat surrounded by stunning natural beauty, Nook on the Hill is the perfect place to escape and unwind. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warm hospitality and thoughtful touches that made our stay truly special.

Cozy robes and luxurious linen ensured we slept deeply and woke up refreshed, ready to explore all that this beautiful area has to offer. The highlight of our stay was soaking in the clawfoot bath under the moonlight, surrounded by the sounds of the birds flitting about outside with the fire crackling nearby.

We enjoyed the generously supplied wine and delicious cheese from the region under the leafy pergola with its striking views of the gardens and the Gariwerd land, the perfect spot to relax and connect to the land.

After a day of exploring the incredible hikes and waterfalls nearby, we were excited to retreat to our magical tiny home to recharge. Snuggled up in the book nook, kicked back on the blackbutt couch, or roasting marshmallows at sunset, wherever you nestle the views are just mesmerizing.

Nook on the Hill is such a special place. It's clear that the house itself has been made with love and passion, and every detail has been carefully thought out to ensure that your stay is nothing short of perfect - we felt nourished and ready to explore all that this magical area has to offer.

We heard about Seppelts underground labyrinth of tunnels being the largest in the Southern Hemisphere and we had to see for ourselves. We took the extensive history lesson on the guided tour and explored 'The Drives'.
