COTTAGE DETAILS
With two bedrooms the main has a King Bed and separate seating area with lots of closet space and air conditioning. The second bedroom has two King Single sleigh beds and lots of cupboard space all with block out blinds.

We have a newly renovated bathroom with walk in shower.

The living room is spacious with a wood burning stove (wood supplied) and air conditioning. There is a separate TV room with French doors so you can watch TV without disturbing each other.

This is a great place to do some outdoor entertaining with a large outdoor table and and open fireplace and BBQ .

The kitchen is modern and well equipped with a Nespresso coffee machine and soda stream.

The laundry is also well equipped with a front loader and dryer or outside clothes line if you prefer.

We are pet friendly but there is no fencing for dogs but we do have horse yards available. Please let us know if you would like to bring a pet and we can discuss.

Min 2 night stay on weekend and 3 nights on long weekends. No smoking indoors.

As we are just out of town it is very quiet.

Please feel free to wander the property. Take a walk up the hill and through the forest.

There is a code entry system on the front and back doors. My husband and I live on the property up the hill so the only time you will see up is if we are feeding the horses at the time. However, if you need anything we are there to help.

Shawwood Cottage was the perfect country escape. Brilliant location, close enough to Mudgee town but far enough away for a true sense of stillness. The cottage is beautifully furnished and the kitchen has everything you could need. We will definitely be returning soon!

Shawwood Cottage was a great place to stay in Mudgee. Close to wineries and town it was a great central location for our getaway. Good kitchen setup to cook at home and great outdoor space. The beds were super comfy as well! I highly recommend it!
