Tucked away in the hills of Wild Dog Valley, just 7 minutes from Apollo Bay, Valley View is a cosy, newly renovated retreat set on a peaceful farm with a private lake and ancient trees.

Wake to the sound of kookaburras, curl up by the wood fire, and soak in sweeping views of lush valleys and misty mornings. This soulful escape offers the perfect blend of comfort and nature—ideal for couples, small families, creatives, and anyone needing to unwind.
Please note, our driveway is quite steep and may not be suitable for front-wheel drive vehicles or very cautious drivers. Most guests manage just fine, but we like to give a heads-up so you can arrive comfortably.

Rachel or Tim will be home to welcome you. The guest house and patio are your domain for the duration of your stay. You are welcome to wander around the beautiful gardens and spring-fed lake. We are happy to offer guided walks around the farm should you wish to see more.

Lake

Guests are welcome to to swim, canoe and fish in the Spring fed Lake.
Children must supervised at all times.

Fish Swim Stand Up Paddle Board Or Kayak On Our Private Lake

Come and experience a private and secluded freshwater lake on the property. The middle of the lake is 5 meters deep. we have paddle boards, kayaks and canoes. Bring your bathers or wet suit or bring your fishing rod. Please not that all activities on the property are your responsibility.

Deep Spring Swimming

Here we jumped off the peer into crystal clear springs that were 5 metres deep! Refreshingly chilly, yet warm enough with the sun on our backs. Here we swam, paddled, splashed and floated listening to the birds chirp around us as the sun came down.
