We really enjoyed our stay in this unique little Tank, the description and photos were absolutely spot on.
It provided us with the perfect place to unplug, relax and unwind. The backdrop to The Tank... being set amongst sheep paddocks, overlooking two bodies of water was just so beautiful, private and tranquil. The Tank and amenities were simply decorated with an authentic rustic feel and provided us with everything we needed. Our hosts Neil & Angela were super friendly, kind and generous and made us feel right at home. They even supplied us with a delicious lamb pack for dinner on our first night!

Where do we begin?
We LOVED our stay at The Tank.
Our stay was extremely relaxing, bedding SO comfortable (best sleep we’ve both had in ages), and the view is stunning.
Being able to stay in accommod...ation that is integral to the working sheep farm that is Forge Creek Lamb, was really special.
Never in my wildest imagination would I ever thought I’d be sleeping in a converted concrete water tank-but it really works!
We were so comfortable.
We had some great conversations with host Neil and learned some more history of the farm.
Being able to wake up to crisp, clean air, the sound of birdsong and the bleating of sheep really made our stay memorable.
The little welcoming touches were appreciated too.
Our favourite things whilst we were in the area:
Fishing
Exploring the silt jetties
Raymond Island
Watching & listening to the lake wildlife
Relaxing by the campfire
We’d love to have stayed longer.
How have we not know about this little beauty before?
