The King Valley Kiln is located in Chestnut South in the Victorian High Country. The King Valley Kiln was converted from a tobacco kiln into our unique accommodation which is now an historic building and still on its original working site.

The upper level bedroom has high pitched ceilings. This very spacious room has French doors that reveal an amazing picturesque landscape that changes with the seasons. The view can be seen from the comfort of your bed. From the balcony you have magnificent views of Power’s Lookout, the King River river red gums, the Black Ranges and grazing Angus cattle. This ‘Room with a View’ has an antique brass queen bed with a luxurious pillow topped mattress, and the crisp white linen add to the indulgence. Our space is for couples only.

Downstairs is the lounge and dining room. All very cosy when the wood heater is going and very comfortable during the warmer months with Split System AC and ceiling fans. The kitchen is well equipped for cooking and bathroom/laundry has a front loader. Fully self-contained.

The King Valley Kiln has been lovingly restored with recycled selected vintage timbers, giving an ambience of the old melded with the new. BBQ and outdoor setting. Adults only accommodation.
