This beautifully renovated forestry hut is located behind our main house, in our little piece of paradise. On 63 acres, home to Fay, Bushie, four horses, two dogs and one cat, this oasis is tucked away with the only neighbour looking at us being Mt Buffalo, or as the locals call her, The Grand Old Lady.

The property hosts an abundance of native birds, Mr Wally wombat, deers and kangaroos. Backing on to State Forest, there are many walks from a 20min walk to a 2-4 hour walk in the hills or quietly along the river. You have access to BBQ facilities and a pool in the summer months.

The naming of the love shack came about upon purchasing the property some five years ago. Fay's father, at the time 90 years of age, and his girlfriend, 91 years of age, automatically named it the Love Shack as they envisaged, once renovated, them sitting in bed, playing cards and taking in the view and so the name stuck. In keeping with the name, we have created a luxurious, romantic space for two....

Bushies Love Shack is perfect for that romantic getaway or for simple peace and quiet.
It includes:
- Queen size bed
- Private bathroom with luxury bath robes
- Kitchen with dishwasher, coffee machine and breakfast provisions including museli, home-made muffin and eggs and bacon
- Complimentary bottle of Feathertop wine and cheese platter on arrival

We will not accept booking for additional children or babies.
One night mid-week bookings may be available on request.

If available Fay is happy to take you on a guided 2-4 hour walk. Bushie is available for transfer to/from Bright if you wish to relax and have dinner and drinks in town....
