Situated within the Royal National Park, Bundeena is popular with locals and tourists alike for hiking, swimming, birdwatching, watersports and whale/dolphin watching. There are a few friendly cafes on the main street, and plenty of regular local events to experience.
Steps to Jibbon Beach, stroll to the village shops and nearby Hordens Beach. Walk the Jibbon Loop Track or venture further into the Royal National Park to explore this natural wonder.
Driving to Bundeena from Sydney takes just under an hour and takes you through the Royal National Park. Please note that visitors driving straight to Bundeena do not have to pay the park entry fee and can proceed through the far left lane at the park entrance. A ferry service operates between Cronulla and Bundeena roughly every hour and the journey takes 20 minutes.
Should the National Park entrance be closed for whatever reason, or simply if you prefer, you can drive to Cronulla and catch the ferry across to Bundeena - it is a short walk from the ferry wharf to the Bunkie Ethel & Ode’s. Timetables can be found on the Cronulla Ferries web page.
The Main House and The Bunkie, which are also situated on the property, are not part of this listing. Each accommodation has its own distinct areas, with only the Neil Street entrance shared.

Great place for a couple. The location is amazing, a short walk to the main shops in Bundeena and an even shorter one to the beach. Definitely recommend Fogo for the view, waking up to the water every morning is a dream.

Adventures Nearby
Here are some details about the adventures nearby. Refer to the map for their location.
Fish
The house is located on the rocks at Jibbon Beach. Popular with rock fisherman who catch black fish. You can walk straight from the house onto the rocks and set your rod up.
Swimming
This beach is located at the eastern end of Bundeena and is a part of the Royal National Park. A starting point for coastal walking trails including the shorter Jibbon Loop Track and the longer Jibbon Track.
Earth Thingz Cafe
This quaint and cute cafe feels like it's the community hub of Bundeenda with incredibly friendly staff and beautiful food. I went a couple of times during my stay and had a beautiful experience both times.
Bush Walk
Wedding Cake Rock is a sandstone rock formation located in the Royal National Park near Bundeena, New South Wales, Australia, accessible via the Royal National Park Coast Track. The rock is one of many formations that appear north of Marley Beach, and is suspended 25 metres above sea level.
Royal National Park
The Royal National Park is an incredible location to explore with hikes for all experience levels. My personal highlights are Wedding Cake Rock (although currently fenced off due to impeding erosion) and Eagle Rock.
Bushwalking In Royal National Park
This National Park is one of the oldest in the world. Explore this magnificent park on bushwalking trails through rainforest filled with local wildlife. You can also hire row boats and fish.
