We lived our stay at settlers hut!! Lyn was a lovely host, she was very welcoming and told us everything we needed to know. She also provided fresh bread jam and Granola which was lovely! The farm hom...e was so cute, it had everything we needed for a couple days away from the city. Beautiful scenery, cute animals, gorgeous garden to sit in. It was so peaceful. A perfect weekend away from the city. Definitley reccomend!

We had a beautiful stay and a perfect weekend getaway; we loved every moment. Lyn was very helpful and accommodating; we couldn't have asked for a better host. The cabin is so cute; we only wish we had spent more time there!

Such an amazing experience. Off grid Minimal reception. A fire to tend to. Amazing surroundings and local town with plenty of food options. Lyn is an amazing host and will go to ends meet to ensure yo...u have a wholesome stay.

Amazing bread, spreads and juices supplied. Do yourself a favour and escape the city hussle and bussle and come here. You will not regret it.

The electric blankets made it extremely difficult to get out of bed and do activities because it was so comoftable!

Cannot recommend this enough.

Lyn founded the Industrial Hemp Association of Victoria in 2002. After promoting hemp for 10 years, operating out of her Melbourne home, she made the tree change to an 80 acre farm where she has grown hemp under licence and continues to promote the uses and benefits of hemp. She encourages farmers to grow the crop and consumers to buy hemp products ranging from food through to textiles and building products. The Hemp Cottage is just one of the ways that Lyn promotes hemp. The Settler's Hut is another example of the philosophy of reducing, reusing and recycling - in this case, a whole building!
