Hemp cottage was a really special stay for me and my girlfriend! It's beautifully located close to nice towns for the day out but we were mostly happy to stay at the property as it is so homely. The v...iew + sunset from the main lounge area is incredible, it is so peaceful and relaxing and Lyn was a great host. Highly recommend

My granddaughter and I had a fabulous stay!
Lyn was an absolutely wonderful host, warm, caring, thoughtful and incredibly generous. From the moment we arrived, she made us feel so welcome.... She has alpacas on the property and kindly gave my granddaughter the opportunity to feed them, which was such a special experience. She absolutely loved it and still talks about it!
Lyn has a beautiful way about her. We connected instantly, like old friends, and enjoyed sharing drinks and nibbles together on the back deck while taking in the peaceful surroundings.
The cottage was charming, comfortable and well equipped. Lyn thoughtfully provided some breakfast essentials, which were very much appreciated, and the kitchen had everything I needed to prepare dinner during our stay.
While the accommodation itself was lovely, in all honesty Lyn was the highlight. She is one of those genuinely kind, warm-hearted people who makes your stay truly memorable.
Thank you, Lyn, for your hospitality and for creating such a special experience for both my granddaughter and me. We highly recommend staying here and would happily return.

Great location. Beautiful view, peaceful, cozy cottage with everything you need. Perfect spot to relax. Lyn was a great host.

Lyn founded the Industrial Hemp Association of Victoria in 2002. After promoting hemp for 10 years, operating out of her Melbourne home, she made the tree change to an 80 acre farm where she has grown hemp under licence and continues to promote the uses and benefits of hemp. She encourages farmers to grow the crop and consumers to buy hemp products ranging from food through to textiles and building products.
The Hemp Cottage is just one of the ways that Lyn promotes hemp.
The Settler's Hut is another example of the philosophy of reducing, reusing and recycling - in this case, a whole building!

Just a short drive from the small village of Glenlyon you will find the beautiful Loddon Falls. Follow the dirt road through farmland until you reach the gate to the reserve. Park the car and take the track to the information board, from here walk towards the river to find the rocky track down to the falls. Be rewarded with picturesque views of the falls. A great place to for a swim to cool off in summer.
