We had such a lovely weekend here. The cottage is beautiful, peaceful, and incredibly cozy, perfect for a quiet getaway as a couple. Debbie was genuinely kind and welcoming from the beginning, which m...ade the whole stay feel even more special.
One of our favourite parts was spending the evening by the outdoor fireplace and stargazing. It’s so quiet out there that you can properly disconnect for a bit and just enjoy the surroundings. The views are amazing, and the atmosphere feels really calm and romantic.
The kitchen was also great, we cooked steaks one night and had everything we needed. You can tell a lot of care went into the place.
We left feeling rested and already talking about coming back someday.

After travelling around Australia for 18 months with our two small children twelve years ago we were captivated by the mid-north coast of NSW. Once we happened upon the Rollands Plains Valley we knew we'd found just the place to create a home for our now adult children.
We enjoy all the mid-north coast has to offer in terms of national parks, beaches, eateries, wineries, art and culture. We love to travel, meeting people and sharing life. We are blessed to live where we do and would love to share our precious piece of paradise with you.

Picnic Games On The Lawn
During our stay, we had a picnic on the property while taking in the great views. We set up a blanket in a sunny spot and enjoyed some snacks as we relaxed and took in the surroundings. After lunch, we played a game of Battle Blocks, having fun and sharing a few laughs as we competed. It was a simple and enjoyable way to spend the afternoon.

Pops Swimming Hole
Pop's Hole in Rollands Plains is a deep waterhole that’s great for a swim. Surrounded by trees and the sounds of nature, it’s a relaxing spot to cool down and take a break. Whether swimming or sitting by the water, it’s a peaceful place to enjoy the outdoors.
Strawberry Picking Ricardoes
2 mins off the highway sit's a strawberry and tomato farm. We picked a bucket of strawberries and bought mum some chilli and strawberry jam.
Wine Tasting Cassegrain Winery
Beautiful blends of locally acquired wines. We tried them all and took home a Pinot Noir to have with our roast lamb dinner
Seafood On The River The Big Oyster
Fresh seafood, right on the river!

Crescent Head is a surfers dream. Located on the Macleay Valley Coast this world-famous point break is one of the longest rides in Australia.
