Beautiful location, very close to the town for everything you may need but quiet and private. Nice gas fire to keep you warm and we loved the big windows to watch the wildlife. Overall a hassle free, very nice and relaxing stay.

Visit The Local Wildlife
A great stop for a lunchtime viewing. The local mob of kangaroos is often seen frolicking around this local recreation reserve in Halls Gap.
Livefast Cafe
A perfect place to fuel up for a day of hiking. Livefast Cafe is right in the heart of Halls Gaps and a must stop for breakfast or lunch during your visit.
Pinnacle Lookout
One of the most visited locations in the Grampians, the Pinnacle lookout is a five-kilometre, moderately strenuous hike that delivers panoramic views of Halls Gap, Lake Bellfield and the surrounding area.

Kayaking
The Grampians National Park is the ideal place to hit the water for a paddle. Cruise the streams, lakes and creeks and enjoy the stunning landscapes and soak up the natural beauty. Either bring your own kayak or you are able to hire canoes and kayaks from local operators and set out on the waters of lakes Bellfield, Wartook, Fyans and Hamilton. Bring your fishing gear and cast a line while you’re enjoying the scenery.

Silverband Fall
A short 700m walk through dappled ferny forest leads you to a rock crossing and your arrival at the base of Silverband Falls. Return via the same route. Located approximtely 15 minutes from the centre of Halls Gap.
Peaceful Lakes
Unwind, switch off and enjoy the many lakes in the region. Whether its floating on a lilo or tube in summer or rugging up for a lakeside picnic and meander in autumn or spring. There is a beautiful lake to suit every season and landscape. Explore Lake Fyans, Rocklands Reservoir, Lake Lonsdale, Lake Bellfield and Lake Wartook and soak up the natural beauty and peace.
