DULC tree house was so wonderful! The accommodation was so stunning we almost didn't want to leave and explore the Grampians!
The gas fire was so cozy we curled up on the couch with a hot choccie and... watched one of the provided DVD's.
The outdoor bath was so serene, we completely relaxed listening to the sounds of the trees.
We left the blinds open on the double story windows in the bedroom loft and woke up gently to sun streaming through the trees. It was so peaceful and beautiful it was the perfect way to start the mornings. Plus, having a proper coffee machine also helped!
This accommodation was the perfect balance of home comforts and bringing the outside in. We felt immersed in nature without being cold, wet, or dirty (as is often the case when camping). It was the perfect, romantic, cozy retreat.

We had the best time away at the DULC Tree House - the space is gorgeous, has everything you need & is surrounded by nature. We had a few wet days but still had some friends come up to the cabin to sa...y hello, we really enjoyed the Halls Gap Zoo & highly recommend checking out the Halls Gap Hotel (which is walking distance!).

I would love to welcome you to my single and two storey cabins which are architect-designed to blend into the bushland environment. My unique Halls Gap accommodation with rough-sawn timbers, polished concrete, wooden floors and floor to ceiling windows have been designed with environmental sensitivity, with each cabin linked by raised walkway or footpath.

Adventures Nearby
Here are some details about the adventures nearby. Refer to the map for their location.
Pub Hotel
The Pub Hotel is a beautiful restaurant only a short walk from the accommodation. Here you can enjoy the outside scenery of the mountains as the sun goes down and also spot a kangaroo or two grazing in the backyard. The food was warm and delicious. A perfect way to end our day of adventures.
Paper Scissors Rock Brewery
After we hiked The Pinnacle we finished off our day at the local brewery with a tasting paddle to try out the different beers they had to offer. This cool, unique craft brewery is one not to miss. We enjoyed their Pale Ale and Sour and we can't wait to go back to try the menu, it looked incredible.
Pinnacle Lookout
We started our hike from Wonderland car park where we walked through the gorgeous Grand Canyon, and discovered Echo Cave which is definitely a hidden gem. We made it to the Top of the Pinnacle after 2kms where we walked around admiring the beautiful views and enjoying a homemade salad sandwich. Be sure to pack water and some food, this hike had a lot of steps and open areas where the sun shined on you.
Kayaking Fishing
The Grampians National Park is the ideal place to hit the water for a paddle. Cruise the streams, lakes and creeks and enjoy the stunning landscapes and soak up the natural beauty. Either bring your own kayak or you are able to hire canoes and kayaks from local operators and set out on the waters of lakes Bellfield, Wartook, Fyans and Hamilton. Bring your fishing gear and cast a line while you’re enjoying the scenery.
Silverband Falls
A short 700m walk through dappled ferny forest leads you to a rock crossing and your arrival at the base of Silverband Falls. Return via the same route. Located approximtely 15 minutes from the centre of Halls Gap.
The Balconies
The Balconies was a 15-minute bushland walk that led to the most beautiful rock formations and landscapes of the Grampians. We ventured off track down to the edge where we got to enjoy a peaceful lookout of the region.
