Additional Information

Fully renovated and designed by White Owl Interiors, you will be a short drive to the wineries, 5-star restaurants, and only minutes to the main shopping precinct of Cessnock.

Please leave wet towels on the bathroom floor on check out not carpet in bedrooms.
Please take out all rubbish before you leave and turn off the lights and fans too to save electricity. The Yellow bin is for recycling and the red is for general waste.
No smoking inside. Please discard cigarette butts in the bin, not on the grass.
The house has a smart TV and it is programmed to the house WiFi with an inbuilt chrome cast so you can stream all your favourite shows and music from your smartphone.
The lounge room light switch is located on the wall inside the entryway, the remote to control the light and fan are on the wall in the lounge room. The light switch needs to be left on and you can then control it with the remote.
The fireplace in the lounge room is for decoration purposes only and NOT to be used. It has been decommissioned and DOES NOT WORK.

Please note this is not a party house and please be respectful of my lovely neighbours.

Bin night is Wednesday nights- 1st and 3rd Wednesday of the month is red and yellow bins and 2nd and 4th Wednesday night is red and green. Housekeeping tries to put it out for you but if you are able and staying for a few nights over this period, it is most appreciated to put it on the kerb.

Anita was an amazing host. She was so accommodating as we had a few specific requests and she met them with ease. We loved the place - so cozy and homely! We loved it so much, we asked to stay another night. We’ll be coming back, that’s for sure!

Renovated with love for you to enjoy. I like to provide a space that's not a "run of the mill" holiday house. You will feel welcome the moment you arrive.

Lunch At Bistro Molines

One of the best dining experiences in Pokolbin. A divine menu of French inspired food accompanied by flawless hospitality and a stunning, light filled courtyard. Ask for a seat outside with a view and bask in the sunshine while you devour your meal.

Wine Tasting In Pokolin

The Hunter Valley Wine is Australia's oldest wine region and is famous for its Semillion, Shiraz, Chardonnay and Cab Sav. There's a beautiful mix of large and smaller family owned vineyards and you hop from between cellar doors for a lovely day of wine tasting.

After sipping on bubbly, make your way to the Hunter Valley Chocolate Company for some amazing snacks! The chocolate-covered strawberries were to die for, and chocolate pasta noodles were so unusual and yummy!

Sipping Bubbly At Peterson House

Peterson House produces some of the best sparkling wines I've ever had. Zac was an amazing sommelier, teaching us lots of new things about sparkling wine. The property is beautiful and surrounded by stunning views.

Cider Tasting

Some of the best ciders in Australia come from this beautiful cider house. Taste some niche flavours as Carla, or whoever is looking after you, takes you through a menu of their amazing ciders. Take in the views on the patio while you're sipping and be sure to bring your camera!

Hunter Valley Wineries

On our road trip to Bandon Grove, we took a sneaky detour to Audrey Wilkinson Wineries in the Hunter Valley to pick up some local produce of cheese and wine. One of the best views of the Hunter is from this car park.
