Welcome to The Boomerang : Tree Frog, a fully self contained, boomerang shaped cottage. This is one of the most iconic Australian accommodation options in the country. Tree Frog is located at the halfway mark of both the Great Ocean Road & the Great Ocean Walk. Just minutes from Johanna Beach we offer our guests something unique. Architect designed, purpose built cottages with valley, forest and ocean views. Surrounded by magical, landscaped gardens, we are quintessentially Australian.

The 12 Apostles are 45 minutes from here. They are the most visited attraction in this area and are without a doubt, spectacular, especially at sunrise and sunset. However, you must believe us when we tell you that there is just so much more to see and do.

Johanna, in our unbiased opinion, is the most beautiful beach along the entire Great Ocean Road. We spend loads of time here and we never tire of its beauty. Doesn’t matter whether it’s a beautiful, sunny day or a wild storm in the middle of winter; every time you venture on this beach it will give you something in return. A stay here will be memorable.

COTTAGE DETAILS

Please do not allow your dog into the bedrooms or on the couches. Thank you. And pets must never be left inside by themselves.

Our cottages all have 2 bedrooms with queen size beds and sleep 4 persons comfortably.

Please be aware that our business is not like a hotel. We offer our guests as much privacy as we can and do not service the cottages on a daily basis.

All tariffs include a selection of teas and coffee, long life milk, Tim Tams and basic cooking condiments. In the bathroom you will find top quality, Australian made organic toiletries. Smart Tv. Bose sound system. For those chilly evenings, you'll find plenty of firewood in your woodbox inside the cottage.

Such a beautiful place to visit, very relaxing and enhanced by the awesome massages by Roz! Amazing visit, highly recommend. Particularly lovely to meet Blue and Tommy Red.

Thanks to Mark and Roz for a fantastic stay at The Boomerangs. Check in was really easy, the property and views were incredible. The cottage was clean, comfortable and had good amenities.

The cottage was great. The living area was spacious with a beautiful view. The spa bath was very lush. We loved interacting with Blue, the dog on the property. It was a very private, quiet stay. We would definitely go back again.

We found the time to head west to The Twelve Apostles, which was a first for all 3 of us, and also a must for anyone who hasn't yet visited! Once there, we could easily see why it is regarded as one of the 7 Wonders of Australia.
